- 3.5 cups of cornmeal
- 1.5 AP Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp of baking powder
- 1 Stick of butter – melted
- 3.5 – 4 cups of water
- Spices – garlic powder, cajun seasoning, poultry seasoning, salt, thyme, tarragon
- Veggies – celery, bell pepper, onions ( used about 1/2 cup each)
Pour into a 13X9 pan bake at 375 for about 25-30 min. remove and completely cool.
2nd round –
crumble cornmeal into a large bowl, add 2 eggs, 1 cup of turkey broth, and 32oz of children broth and 1/2 stick of butter and 1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs. Add more seasoning and salt to taste and back again in the same pan in the oven for 25-30 min and serve with turkey gravy.
