Ingredients for Soup:

5 lbs of Organic Roma Tomatoes – peeled, seeded and rough chopped

1/2 fresh onion chopped or 2 Tbsp of dried onion

4-5 Fresh Basil leaves, chopped

1/2 Tbsp of minced fresh garlic

2 Tsp of salt – then salt to taste after the soup is finished

1 (15 oz) of Tomato Puree

1 (12 oz) EVAPORATED canned milk

1 small can of tomato paste

2 cups of chicken broth


I cooked this on the stove for 2 hours, for a smoother texture you could use an emulsion blender to create a smoother soup, but for us, we like it chunky. Then I served with grilled cheese sandwiches and canned the rest.
